President congratulated India’s President on the Republic Day
Tuesday, January 26th, 2010President of the Republic of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė congratulated the President of the Republic of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil, on the anniversary of the Constitution of India – the Republic Day.
In the letter of congratulations, the President writes she believes that relations between Lithuania and India will continue developing on the basis of the principles of the rule of law, respect for human rights, justice, and equality – all of them enshrined in the national constitutions of both states.
